Media Hype Correction to an article which appeared in The Land's Farming Small Areas magazine (May 2004)

Farmers' Markets have received terrific support from the media...but occasionally little glitches do occur.

The Land Farming Small Areas magazine (May 2004) article 'Markets' Pace' is another good news story highlighting the benefits of farmers' markets to small producers.

However, the article contains an error which AFMA seeks to clarify.

The Association is not, as was reported, seeking $1000 donations from farmers' markets toward the creation of the website - which of course has been up and running for some time!

That's not to say AFMA's bean-counter would refuse any donations...!
